Welcome in Lyon for the 2026 Congress of the Diabetes French-Speaking Society (SFD)!
“It is a great pleasure and a true honor to welcome you once again to Lyon for the Société Francophone du Diabète Congress, from March 31 to April 3, 2026. This is the third time our annual meeting is being held in the capital of Gaul, and we are fully committed to making it a success.
The Palais des Congrès at the Cité Internationale, designed by the architect Renzo Piano, which makes the most of natural light between the Parc de la Tête d’Or and the Rhône River, perfectly matches the scale of our congress, which continues to grow in importance each year.
The Scinetific Council of the SFD, the SFD Paramédical and the ‘AJD, in collaboration with the Local Organizing Committee, have developed a dynamic and wide-ranging program highlighting cutting-edge developments.
- New institutional symposia, workshops, and meetings with experts will be showcased alongside oral and poster presentations, and the recipients of the research grants will be honored
- Symposia and forums organized by our industry partners will further enhance knowledge in emerging fields.
With the unwavering support of Colloquium, we aim to offer you a wonderful opportunity to reconnect in an environment conducive to meaningful exchanges, where every participant — clinicians, researchers, and allied health professionals — will find something of value.
Alongside the congress, take the time to stroll through the historic districts of Old Lyon and along the banks of the Saône and Rhône rivers, in a city renowned for its quality of life.
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I wish you an excellent 2026 congress. We look forward to welcoming many of you — your participation will be key to the success of this Lyon edition.
Come and listen to our 2 experts, FFRD Awardees: Nicolas VENTECLEF from Paris (translational research grant, 2016) and Philippe FROGUEL from Lille (clinical research grant, 2017).
They will be joined by the FFRD’s presidency and André SCHEEN, President of the Scientifique Council.
