Since 2013, the Francophone Foundation for Diabetes Research has been supporting dedicated researchers who push the boundaries of knowledge about diabetes.

Whether in fundamental, clinical, or translational research, the supported projects have enabled major advances in the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of this complex disease, thereby highlighting the richness and impact of the work carried out by these Francophone researchers.

To date, numerous scientific publications stemming from these projects have appeared in leading international journals (Molecular metabolism, Diabetologia, Diabetes Journals, Journal of Clinical Investigation-JCI, ASMBM, Cells, Scientific Reports…), confirming the excellence of this research and the recognition of our awardees within the scientific community, and demonstrating the tangible impact of this work on science and, in the near future, on patients with diabetes.
