or a private practice\u2014regardless of whether they are a study investigator, may offer the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/AHRv_NRRitQ\"><strong>at-home self-collection<\/strong><strong>at home<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>This is a <strong>free<\/strong> <strong>screening test<\/strong> that measures levels of <strong>four autoantibodies<\/strong> (anti-insulin, GAD, IA-2, and ZnT8) using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/scl\/fi\/ky9m39f9i2kb1fybo9nxp\/TestADAP.png?rlkey=tzc48fx2re2lxaod3lp4vncsr&amp;st=1628zmdl&amp;raw=1\"><strong>ADAP (<em>Antibody Detection by Agglutination-PCR<\/em>) technique,<\/strong><\/a> , which has been validated for its diagnostic performance.<\/li>\n<li>All you need to do is discuss it with interested patients and give them <a self-assessment questionnaire<\/strong><\/a>, and then we send them the self-collection kit.<\/li>\n<li>Upon receipt of the sample, we perform the test (turnaround time of approximately 4 weeks) and send the results to the referring physician listed on the self-assessment questionnaire:<br \/>\n\u2014 if the test is negative: the results are also sent to the participant<br \/>\n\u2014 if it is positive: it is sent only to the referring physician, who is responsible for informing the participant before arranging follow-up (a confirmatory blood draw).<\/li>\n<li>If a screening test is
