[vc_row][vc_column][ffrd_title title_level=”2″ title_align=”title_align_left”]The board of directors[\/ffrd_title][vc_empty_space height=”64px”][vc_column_text]The Foundation is governed by a BOARD OF DIRECTORS<\/strong> composed of 12 members divided into three colleges. Their mission is to define the strategic directions and actions program that align with the Foundation’s missions.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ffrd_title title_level=”3″ title_align=”title_align_right”]Terms[\/ffrd_title][vc_empty_space height=”64px”][vc_column_text]The Commission of Founders<\/strong> shall be composed of four (4) members appointed by the Francophone Society of Diabetes (SFD) and renewed by the SFD only.<\/p>\n

The Commission of Experts<\/strong> shall be composed of four (4) people choosen on the grounds of their expertise in the field of activities of the Foundation. They are co-opted by the other members of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS<\/strong> and will come from outside of members being part of the Francophone Society of Diabetes (SFD). <\/p>\n

The Commission of Institutional Partners<\/strong> consists of four (4) persons representing its own institution: INSERM Institute, the French Diabetes Federation (FFD), the National Military Social Security Fund and the Academy of Medicine.<\/p>\n

Except the Institutional Partners, the members of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS<\/strong> are elected for a period of four (4) years<\/strong> and half of its members are renewed every 2 years. The BOARD OF DIRECTORS<\/strong> shall elect the General Committee from among its members.<\/p>\n

It shall elaborate the work programme of actions of the Foundation and shall adopt the annual activity report, submitted by the General Committee, concerning the Foundation\u2019s moral and financial situation.<\/p>\n

The BOARD OF DIRECTORS<\/strong> shall receive, discuss and approve the yearly accounts and shall vote the budget for the coming year.<\/p>\n

It shall accept donations and legacies and shall allow acquisitions and disposals of moveable and real property assets, as well as the consititution of mortgages and loans, or any securities and garanties granted on behalf of the Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
