The General Regulation on Data Protection<\/strong> (GRDP<\/strong>) is an European regulation which is the reference text for the protection of personal data and which strengthens and unifies data protection for people within the EU. The GRDP<\/strong> allows you to exercice your rights of rectification, opposition, erasure, portability and limitation of the use of your personal data. This privacy policy defines and describes how the Francophone Foundation for Diabetes Research<\/strong> (FFRD<\/strong>) uses and protects information you provide it, if necessary, when you use its website accessible via the URL www.ffrdiabete.org.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

The privacy and protection of your personal data have always been a strong commitment of the FFRD<\/strong>. Thus, the new regulation has little impact on how we collect and manage your data. In general, you can visit the FFRD<\/strong> website (www.ffrdiabete.org<\/a><\/em>) without providing any personal information. Therfore, you don\u2019t have to transmit this information to the FFRD.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, you may use our \u00ab submission form \u00bb to send us your application for our calls for proposals. As such, by completing our \u00ab submission form \u00bb, you are asked to fill in your surname, first name, email address, phone number, company and function (hereafter your \u00ab Personal Information \u00bb). By providing this information, you expressly accept that it will be promesse by the FFRD<\/strong>, for the purpose indicated in the \u00ab Purposes of processing \u00bb section below and for the purposes stated at the end of each form. In accordance with the General Regulation on Data Protection<\/strong> (GRDP<\/strong>) adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016, and the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, amended, the FFRD<\/strong> informs you on the following points:<\/p>\n

The Francophone Foundation for Diabetes Research<\/strong> (FFRD<\/strong>) is likely to deal with your Personal Information: (a) for the purposes of providing you information or documentation you have requested (in particular on diabetes, on research, on the call for proposals or on the FFRD<\/strong>) ; (b) for the purposes of managing the calls for research projects of the FFRD<\/strong> ; (c) for the purposes of providing you with practical information as part of our calls for proposals ; (d) for the purposes of contacting you regarding your application submission ; (e) for the purposes of providing you with tax receipts following your donation, in accordance with legal obligations ; (f) for the purposes of allowing you to review the application files.<\/p>\n

\u2022 RECIPIENTS \/ DATA SHARING<\/b><\/p>\n

The personal data collected are for the sole use of the Francophone Foundation for Diabetes Research (FFRD)<\/strong>, for purposes of Internal managment and as part of our relationships with the donors, only when you have expressly given your consent via the files application form. The FFRD<\/strong> is the only recipient of your Personal Information which is never transmitted to a third party. The FFRD<\/strong> does not proceed to the marketing, transfer or exchange of personal data of the visitors and users of its website or its submission form, with no other association or for-profit structure.<\/p>\n

Data collected by the FFRD<\/strong> are hosted and secured by the OVH company. Our provider meets very strict standards regarding data safety and protection. Files are backed up and access to servers protected by passwords.<\/p>\n
