The FFRD has just finalized the awarding of its Research Grants for 2015.

After discussion, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce you that this year 4 candidates were awarded the 2015 FFRD Research Grants, including a €300.000 grant, a €200.000 grant and two grans of €150.000 each.

The 4 recipients of the FFRD call for proposals for 2015 are :





The Professor Michel MARRE, President of the FFRD, is announcing “in live” the 2015 FFRD Research Grants recipients, on the occasion of the SFD Thematic Day, which held on December 11th, 2015, in the Salons de l’Aveyron in Paris.


The recipients of the 2014 FFRD Research Grants were elected on 17 November 2014 at the conclusion of the day of hearings before the Scientific Council. The 2 recipients of the clinical and basic Research Grants had the opportunity to present their projects at the press conference organized by the FFRD on 12 December 2014 at the Marriott Hotel Rive Gauche, during the theme day held by the SFD.

The recipients of the 2014 FFRD Research Grants are:

• Dr Hélène DUEZ, Inserm, Pasteur Institute in Lille, France, for her Basic Research project « Rôle du récepteur nucléaire Rev-erb-alpha dans le développement du diabète de type 2 : implication du tissu adipeux et du muscle squelettique »

• Pr Rémy BURCELIN, Inserm, Hôpital Rangueil in Toulouse, France, for his Translational Research project « Caractérisation du système immunitaire mucosal intestinal chez les patients avec obésité abdominal et diabétique de type 2 : rôle causal du microbiote correspondant »
