2019

We would like to thank all candidates for their interest in the Francophone Foundation for Diabetes Research – FFRD – through their response to its call for proposals on last 18 February.

For this seventh consecutive year, we received more than 30 application files.

After a very close review of the projects, first evaluated by 3 appointed external experts, and then examined  at the meeting of the Scientific Council of
 7 October:

8 candidates have been selected for a face-to-face interview for the Scientific Council which will be held in the FFRD’s offices in Paris, on Novembre 4th:

The Francophone Foundation for Diabetes Research would like to congratulate them!

As announced, the FFRD will support 3 research projects: 1 clinical research project, 1 basic research project and 1 translational research project of €300.000 each, which means almost 1 million Euros for this year, once again!

The finale decision of the Scientific Council will be known following the interviews meeting of November 4th when the 3 new recipients of the 2019 FFRD Research Grants will be selected.

2018

As each year, we would like to thank all candidates who responded to the call for proposals of 19 February 2018 and submitted their application.

As announced, the Francophone Foundation for Diabetes Research planned to support 3 research projects: 1 clinical research project, 1 basic research project and 1 translational research project  of €300K each, for a total of almost 1 million Euros for this year!

For this 6th year, we received 32 application files.

Having carefully studied the projects, first evaluated by 3 appointed external experts and examined at the meeting of the Scientific Council of October 8th,

7 preselected candidates  have been selected for a face-to-face interview before the Scientific Council on November 5th, in the FFRD’s offices in Paris.

The final choices of the Scientific Council will be communicated to the 3 recipients of the 2018 FFRD Research Grants at the end of the hearings day on November 5th.
